USPS postage statements,
made easy.
mail.easy is an API library that simplifies submitting electronic postage statements to USPS for mid-sized mailers. Three API calls — preflight, confirm, and submit — and we handle the heavy lifting and complex logic.
As easy as 3 API calls.
Preflight your mailpieces
Before mailing, send a simple JSON dataset of all your mailpieces to /maileasy/preflight. We do the heavy lifting:
- Build trays and assign mailpieces
- Generate IMb and Tracking ID barcodes
- Sort pieces into rate categories — 5-Digit, AADC, Mixed AADC, Single Piece
- Prepare pieces for postage statement submission
Mix multiple mail types and sorts within a single preflight dataset, and send as many preflight requests as you need throughout the day or mailing session.
Mail the pieces
Mail your pieces indexed by tray for simple sorting at induction. Everything is barcoded, organized, and ready to go.
Confirm & submit
Request mail.easy to combine all submitted preflight datasets and return confirmation of the postage statement package. Add or remove preflight datasets as needed before final submission.
When you’re ready, request mail.easy to submit the postage statement package. Done.
